SAG Awards Sets Date and Deadlines For Next Year’s 25th Anniversary Show

Just when you thought you wouldn’t read the words “awards season” for a while, the SAG Awards has a date for its 25th anniverary ceremony next year. The trophy show’s executive producer Kathy Connell said today that the actors’ hardware will be doled out Sunday, January 27. TBS and TNT will air it live on both coasts starting at 5 PM PT

Here are the key dates and deadline for the silver anniversary Screen Actors Guild Awards:

Monday, April 16
Deadline for Selected Members to Opt-in to Serve on Nominating Committees

Monday, July 9
Rules and Regulations Announced

Monday, July 30
Submissions Open at sagawards.org/submissions

Monday, October 1
Period to Request Paper Final Ballots in Lieu of Online Voting Begins
Media Nominations and Ceremony Credential Applications Open

Monday, October 22
Submissions Close at 5 p.m. PT at sagawards.org/submissions

Monday, October 29
Media Nominations and Ceremony Credential Applications Close

Monday, November 5
Publicists Nominations Credentials Applications Open

Thursday, November 15
Nominations Balloting Opens

Friday, November 30
Publicists Nominations Credentials Applications Close

Monday, December 3
Deadline for Paying November 2018 Dues and/or Changing Address with SAG-AFTRA to be Eligible for Final Balloting

Friday, December 7
Records Pulled for Final Balloting

Sunday, December 9
Nominations Balloting Closes at 5 p.m. PT

Wednesday, December 12
Nominations Announced

Thursday, December 13
Publicists Ceremony Credentials Applications Open

Tuesday, December 18
Final Voting Opens

Tuesday-Wednesday, January 8-9
Credentialing Pre-Photo for Publicists

Friday, January 11
Final Day to Request Paper Final Ballots in Lieu of Online Voting

Monday, January 14
Publicists Ceremony Credentials Applications Close at 5 p.m. PT

Friday, January 25
Final Votes Must be Cast Online or Ballots Received by the Elections Firm by 12 noon PT

Sunday, January 27
25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards
